Tax free Childcare

Tax-Free Childcare is a government scheme that helps eligible working families with childcare costs. For every £8 you pay into your online childcare account, the government adds £2.

Families can receive up to £2,000 per child each year, or up to £4,000 for a child with a disability. This can be used alongside funded childcare hours to help pay for any additional childcare costs.

All children aged 3 and 4 are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare per week, for 38 weeks of the year. This funding is available to all children in this age group, regardless of family income or whether parents are working.

Eligible working families may be entitled to access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week, for 38 weeks of the year, from the term after their child turns 9 months old until they start school.

We offer funded places for eligible 2-year-olds whose families meet the specific criteria. Children who are eligible can access 15 hours of funded childcare per week, for 38 weeks of the year.
